Tuner Tools llc will at certain timess (and only when necessary) collect and use personal information to properly process your orders, to understand your needs and interests and to serve you better. An obvious example is to collect a shipping name and address so we know where to send your order. One (optional) question in the checkout process will ask for information about the type of vehicle and this information allows us to review the purchase you've made and compare those parts to the vehicle listed to ensure you receive the right equipment for your car or truck. Credit Card information is processed by our payment processing service is not held in any database or any other records managed by either Tuner Tools nor any division nor website we manage. We simply do not keep credit card information of our customers on file, period. The information collected is used ONLY to process your orders and to service your needs as a customer. Information is NOT shared with any other company except as absolutely necessary to provide the product or service you have purchased. An example of where your information might be legitimately required by another company is in the purchase of a software license where your basic registration information is needed by the originating licensor in order to grant the software license or when a component you've purchased is to be drop shipped directly from the manufacturer, they will of course need your name and shipping details. The only case where financial information might be shared will be in the official investigation of online and/or credit card fraud, in which case it's likely the information being shared was not even entered by the proper owner of that information and our efforts are simply to end the fraudulent use of their data and notify the true owner of the situation. At no time will Tuner Tools llc or any of our subsidiaries share your information with another commercial entity outside the immediate requirements for filling your order. Tuner Tools llc and our subsidiaries may from time to time send an email to our customers with notification of special sales or announcements or discounts available only to our respected customers. We use professional commercial email software which includes an opt out or unsubscribe function and encourage you to please use that unsubscribe option if you wish to no longer receive these very occasional messages. Such messages are typically less than 4 or 5 per year. |
