DM 200 and DM 100 Cable [Archive]

My friend recieved the device without any problem. Now I have one more question. I have plans of installing it to the mirror. I see that the cable coming from the screen to the interface ( HDD ) is not long enough. if I buy a normal VGA 15 pin cabe for 2 meters and connect it between the screen and interface will it work.
Or do I have to buy a special wire ??

Hoping to have your answer as soon as possible so I will start mounting it.

Unfortunately, the cable can not be extended. This is a special made cable for the DM-100 (http://tunertools.com/proddetail.asp?prod=PLX-DM-100) and DM-200 (http://tunertools.com/proddetail.asp?prod=PLX-DM-200) and the signal loss of adding an extension will negatively impact the operation of the multi-gauge. I'm afraid you'll need to relocate the sensor module within reach of the gauge using the cable provided.<o></o>
