Thanks for your inquiry about the JVCI library. We’re intentionally keeping this in the “ask us” category because it’s not really a consumer oriented piece of software. The JVCI is a backend database with no front end and it’s intended for use incorporating into another application. It’s actually available right now and ships in DVD format as it’s rather large for downloading.
Purchase of the library requires agreement in writing to some acknowledgement that it’s proprietary code and Drew Technologies has some rules around how it’s to be used (and not used).
The most important reason for holding it in the “ask us” category is that the guys at Drew Tech would like to discuss with you first how you intend to implement it and we’ll all try and make sure we’re headed toward a successful project. As I said, this is not really a consumer object easy to just buy and plug in, there will be a development effort involved to incorporate this library and we’ll need to send you the required forms to sign off and fax to us.
Please summarize how you’d see this being used, i.e. how you’d like to use it and we’ll go from there.
