    Default blazer/bullydog watchdog-will it work

i own a 2000 blazer 4dr 4.3Lvortec with an oil cooler on it. what i want to do is monitor the transmission temp. on a scan tool i can pull up the tranny temp. now the watchdog fuel monitor says it has a tranny temp gauge on it. i've heard different things from bully dog and their dealers. contridicting each other. some say that it will not work. others say as long as the tranny has the sensor and it runs to the obd it will work. thanks guys for you input

To be quite honest, I'm not sure if the Watchdog will display trans temp or not. The trans temp parameter is part of the "enhanced" data set in the OBD system and is not part of the generic / global sensor parameters. For a meter to read this, it will need to include GM enhanced data for that year model and that's tough to say without plugging one in and trying it out. I do believe the DashDAQ will include this parameter though.
    Cheers,
