NOTE: A few models in 01-2003, such as the Z3, still have 20 pin connector and require either the old style R5/FCX-II or the R5/FCX-3-U. If your car does NOT have the under hood connector, then R5/FCX-3-16  is the correct tool for your car or the R5/FCX-3-7 will cover years 87-07.
