Tiny in size, not in capabilities!

We are happy to introduce Tuner Tools line of budget and DIY friendly ECUS!

Starting with this single board speeduino based ECU (based on a design from Markel Weaver). This palm sized ecu still packs quite a punch!

The Tiny Tuner is a 4 channel ECU that supports up to 4 cylinders sequential and direct fire, or up to 8 semi sequential/wasted spark including engines with non-even firing orders. The concept of the Tiny Tuner was a reliable and capable ECU that supports DIY and budget minded users while still offering a broad feature list and capabilities - but without the diy look, feel and "science fair" approach. No soldering, no wire mess inside the case and no stacking boards. 

The ECU is packaged in a sealed enclosure and suitable for use in open wheeled and power sports applications (avoid full submersion and direct high pressure spray. Required USB seal plug to be installed when not in use).  Utilized Tuner Studio and standard Speeduino firmware (custom firmware available and supports user created custom firmware). 

– 4 ignition channels (5V logic level – smart coils or igniter required)
– 4 injector channels (low side)
– 4 high current outputs (Low side, Flyback diode integrated)
– 8 low side/low current outputs
– Stepper idle control (stepper control chip built in)

• Idle control: 2 or 3 wire PWM or 4 wire stepper, open or closed loop
• Unused outputs can be repurposed (stepper requires jumper config for repurpose)

-2X trigger inputs (VR conditioner onboard, hall of VR supported via jumper settings) (supported trigger patterns shown HERE)
-VVT support (Open loop, Closed loop for select triggers. Details on VVT HERE )

-On board 4 bar map (external map location on board **the upgraded version will allow onboard vs external via a jumper trace  OR  small form factor with built in O2 and external map only)

-Analog inputs:

• TPS, Intake temp and Coolant Temp
• O2 (analog signal)  **Internal wideband available - SEE NOTES**
• 2x Spare Inputs (analog or digital) (can reassign unused analogs where allowed via TS firmware)
• MAP (onboard, or via external analog)
• Board set-able pull up or pull down for inputs and outputs

-Launch Control w/ input switch (Clutch, speed and/or switch enable logic)
-Boost Control (open and closed loop)

NOTES AND DETAILS

Images here show the Tiny Tuner Compact which will be the smallest and most budget friendly ECU in the line up with all the features above.  Compact is available as listed OR can be equipped with an internal wideband at the loss of the internal MAP (external map would be supported via the main connector). 

A slightly larger with dual connector version will be available with on-board O2 and Onboard MAP.  Race and Ultra version with significantly expanded I/O and native CanBus are in development.

External logger and LCD 5 and 7" display's are in testing and pending final enclosure verification. 

Will be available as plug/pin, flying lead harness, Semi-Finished harness with power distribution and custom harness options.
